Adalbert is an alternative music project by Slovak singer and multi-instrumentalist Vojtěch Štědroň, active on the scene since 2014. Their work is characterized by a dark, melancholic atmosphere influenced by post-punk, grunge, and progressive rock—a style the artist sometimes refers to as "sadcore." The band gained attention with their debut EP and subsequent album Ghosts (2018). Among their most significant live achievements are a performance at the prestigious Sziget Festival and serving as the opening act for the world-renowned band Placebo. Adalbert combines intimate songwriting with the raw energy of a live band, a sound further explored on more recent recordings like Notes of Delirium (2022) and the upcoming album The Band of Losers (2025/2026).
