AN EVENING WITH MASOOD BOOMGAARD ​​& SELF-HELP SINGH – Coming to Slovakia for the First Time

On October 7, 2026, South African comedian Masood Boomgaard will make his Slovak debut at the V-klub in Bratislava, bringing along his popular alter ego, Self-Help Singh.

"An Evening with Masood Boomgaard & Self-Help Singh" offers two comedic styles in a single night. In the first half, Boomgaard performs as a stand-up comedian, sharing observational humor and stories drawn from his life, travels, cultural differences, and experiences performing around the globe.

The second part features his internet phenomenon, Self-Help Singh—the exact opposite of a typical motivational coach. Instead of offering a roadmap to success, he delivers dry humor, absurd life wisdom, a perspective of resigned detachment, and ruthlessly accurate insights into our obsession with productivity, happiness, personal growth, and the quest to become the "best version of ourselves."

Boomgaard thus blends classic stand-up with satire and a parody of self-help culture into a unique "two-in-one" comedy experience—a formula that has won him audiences worldwide and millions of fans on social media.
