FRIENDS FEST - 8th edition of the popular multi-genre festival full of America!
Show full descriptionA rich, varied and entertaining dose of the real America is coming to East Bohemia again in August!
There will be great displays of hundreds of American cars and motorcycles, including the most famous legends and vintage cars. There will be real rodeo disciplines in the arena and western demonstrations on the stage. The grounds will feature a lumberjack Eurojack show, Strongman show, General Custer's 7th Cavalry and other action-packed performances. For the young visitors, there will be a great children's day with many attractions. The tender part of the audience will have the opportunity to be inspired by stylish fashion shows. For history and military fans, there will be attractive demonstrations of period and contemporary military equipment, including the iconic Sherman tank. The American Dragoons and a unit of the Czech Army will be at the festival. The whole day will be peppered with sporting demonstrations and exciting competitions, including burger eating and wheel changing at the NASCAR Buggyra race car for valuable prizes. There will be plenty of food and drink stalls on the main festival street, offering a taste of American cuisine. The festival program will culminate with performances by the musical groups Sebastian and SKWOR. The festival will end with a spectacular fireworks display.
There will be something for everyone, from the youngest to the oldest. So don't hesitate and come to the Pardubice Racecourse on 12 August and take home a piece of America!
