Grandbrothers for the first time in Slovakia.

One of the most original names on the contemporary European electronic and neoclassical scene is coming to Slovakia for the first time. Grandbrothers will perform on November 7, 2026 at the Great Concert Hall of the Slovak Radio in Bratislava as part of the CITY SOUNDS Festival.

The Grandbrothers project is led by pianist Erol Sarp and producer and sound designer Lukas Vogel. Their music is created from an unusual combination of an acoustic concert piano, electronics and their own mechanical devices that can resonate the strings and body of the instrument in a variety of ways.

In their performance, the piano turns into an entire sound organism – sometimes intimate and minimalist, sometimes pulsating, rhythmic and almost dance-like. Grandbrothers naturally connect the worlds of modern classical, ambient, electronic and club music and create a sound that is both organic and technological.

Their Slovak premiere will be heard in a space that is exceptionally suitable for this type of music. The large concert hall of the Slovak Radio is one of the most acoustically interesting concert spaces in Bratislava and will allow the piano details, electronic textures, and dynamics of Grandbrothers' music to fully stand out.
