Paul Van Dyk returns to Brno after three years and with the new album From Then On.

Last time he played in Brno in 2016 and shortly after he accidentally fell down from the podium at the Dutch event of Armin Van Buuren ASOT 750. He flew six and half meters straight to the floor and the ambulance drove him to a hospital with a brain injury, twice fractured and injured part of the spine and many of bruises. The worst was the open wound on the back of his head which the world famous Dj had fastened to the hospital bed and the wheelchair for three months. Because of the brain injury, he basically learned to walk again and had problems with speaking. Thanks to toughness he eventually began to heal and slowly returned to the concert stages.

He confirmed his health condition not only with concerts, but also with the announcement of the expected new album From Then On.

He will stop on March 23, 2018 in Brno after three years. Tickets for the show in Bobycenter are on sale exclusively in TicketLIVE from this week.

For his new album From Then On, Paul Van Dyk prepared a new visual concept called AEON by Paul Van Dyk. The Latin word means life and vitality and it´s the main theme of the concert show. „Music has the unique ability to take people out of their troubles and to relieve them an anxiety and stress, and we are trying to increase this feeling with a new concert concept,“ says Paul Van Dyk, who is looking forward to Brno. „The last time I was playing there before my accident. Brno was actually one of the last events I remember before this accident.

Paul van Dyk spent his childhood in the communist eastern part of Berlin at the time when there was almost no club scene in East Germany. Thanks to west TV channels he watched the music behind the iron curtain, from which attracted him the most The Smiths and New Order.

After the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989, techno culture began to grow in Germany, but Paul lacked something in this energetic music, he was trying to find something new. And he actually succeeded.  Most people think that DJs are only music mixing machines who never came into contact with real live music and didn´t hold any musical instrument in their life. I consider myself primarily as a musician. I can play on few musical instruments and I really enjoy playing live, says Paul Van Dyk during his last visit of the Czech Republic, who also became famous not only for his musical activities, but also for his engagement in the political and social spheres. He supports a children charity projects in India or also cooperates with the German Red Cross.

Van Dyk´s concert tour across all continents is regularly sold out, and it´s because of his successful productive career: he collaborated with stars such as Depeche Mode and Justin Timberlake. (Press Release)
